European Club Championship 2010 Live

The 2010 European Club Championships take place in the Dutch city of Zwolle, on 23rd June Wednesday 2010 at 08:00 - 21:00.The draw for the 2010 European Club Championships was today conducted in the Badminton Europe office. The Russian clubs are favourites to retain the title but hard opponents from all over Europe will do their real best to take back the trophy. Holders Favorit Ramenskoe will be up against Icelandic, Austrian and Czech opposition in the group while compatriots from ROST Nizhni-Novgorod will be against teams from Italy, Portugal and the Netherlands.

The prestigious event has been won by Russian clubs the last 3 years and so it will be interesting to ascertain whether they could preserve the title.The 1st session of the day had to decide which two players were able to qualify for the men’s and women’s singles finals. After another four matches played the four finalists were Pablo Abian, Rune Ulsing, Ella Diehl and Susan Egelstaff.
