PDC World Darts Championship Live

The PDC World Darts Championship Live begins on Friday December 18^th and happens for the next few weeks, from the Alexandra Palace in London. It moves from its old home at the Circus Tavern, where it was held for fourteen years. The tournament goes from December to January each year and only four players have won this particular tournament under its current name. Dennis Priestley, John Part, Raymond van Barneveld and Phil Taylor. Taylor has twelve titles to his credit and has reached the final no less than fifteen times out of sixteen competed.

Last year Taylor didn't participate in the finals and the last tournament was between John Part and Kirk Shepherd, which was won by Part, taking home his third world title. The first winner of this tournament was Dennis Priestley back in 1994, and Raymond van Barneveld's win came in 2007 beating Phil Taylor.
