Euro Hockey League Live

We're just beginning the final games in the world of Euro Hockey League, as the next event comes to you from St. Germain, October 23^rd – 25^th. This will be round 1.2 which follows 1.1 held October 11^th at the RC de Polo de Barcelona. Next year, we follow this up with the EHL KO16, the venue still undecided on that, but held on April 2^nd - 5^th and finally the final four competition which will be May 24^th. This unique hockey competition began in 2007 as is a continental event for the field hockey clubs all over Europe. This event began because the European Cup II and the EuroHockey Club Champions Cup merged just before this competition started. The clubs that participate are separated into twelve different countries, all of which are members of the European Hockey Federation. They are further split into eight groups which compete in two venues, with only sixteen teams moving onto the knockout stages.

Last year's Euro Hockey League winners were HC Bloemendaal from The Netherlands and then the year before that Germany's Uhlenhorster HC took the Cup. This year it is anyone's guess, but we are approaching the final stages, beginning with this match in St. Germain which will be held October 23^rd to the 25^th.
