Watch New Zealand v France Live online streaming of Semi Final 1 IRB Womens Rugby World Cup England 2010 on Wednesday 1st September 2010 at 17:00 - 19:00 GMT at the Twickenham Stoop. The Rugby World Cup is the premier international rugby union competition. The event is organised by the sport's governing body, the International Rugby Board (IRB), and is contested by the men's national teams. The inaugural tournament was held in 1987, hosted by both Australia and New Zealand, and is now contested every four years. The tournament is one of the largest international sporting competitions in the world.

The 2010 Womens Rugby World Cup will be the sixth edition of the Women’s Rugby World Cup and is to be held in England. The International Rugby Board Executive Committee selected the host union following a recommendation from the Rugby World Cup Limited board after considering bids from the Rugby Football Union and the German Rugby Union – it had been England’s third successive bid after being rejected in 2002 and 2006. The tournament will again be organized by the International Rugby Board (IRB) as opposed to the host union, and will include five matches for all teams to be played on August 20, 24, 28, September 1 and 5. In May 2009 it was announced that the semi final, 3rd place play off and final would take place at The Stoop and not Twickenham as had previously been suggested. Pool games will be held at the Surrey Sports Park in Guildford.

New Zealand were the first to confirm their place after beating Wales 41-8 to top Pool A, swiftly followed by France who overcame Canada 23-8 in the Pool C decider with England the final Pool winner to be confirmed after a 37-10 defeat of the USA. The All Blacks captain, who has been in sparkling form this season guiding his team to 14 consecutive test victories en route to the Bledisloe Cup and Investec Tri Nations, said that the side was still some way off in his opinion from being in the required form to win the World Cup. The All Blacks captain also added that the end of year tour, with a Hong Kong match against the Wallabies before a Grand Slam tilt facing England, Scotland, Ireland and Wales in consecutive weeks, was to serve as a dress rehearsal of sorts for the World Cup. Sonny Bill Williams' rocky start to his New Zealand rugby career continued on Thursday after he was reprimanded for going skiing on rehab time.
