World Championships Judo 2009 Live

If you just can't get enough of the sport of Judo then you'll definitely want to be here for the 2009 World Championships of Judo live. These are the highest level of competition for international judo, side by side with the Olympic Judo Competition. This is the 26^th championship and they'll be coming to you live from Rotterdam, Netherlands, August 26^th to the 30^th. There are four classes four the men, the 60 kilogram, 60 kilogram, 73 kilogram and 81 kilogram classes. For the women there are the 48, 52, 57 and 63 kilogram classes. The tournament has wound it's way throughout the world, starting in Eju-Sen-Celje June 20^th to the 21^st. Then they moved onto the 2009 FC Cadets Koper June 26^th to 28^th and onto The Mediterranean Games in Pescara which took place from the 2^nd to the 5^th of July. The next event was the 2009 Grand Slam which was held in gorgeous Rio de Janeiro.

This year's World Cup was held at Belo Horizonte July 11^th through 12^th and then they moved onto the OTP Bank Int. Atom Cup, July 18^th and 19^th. Then the EYOF in cad-Tampere July 18^th through the 25^th and after that the fighters moved onto Budapest where they participated in Cadet WC August 6^th through the 9^th. Finally, the last event before the final was the EJU Jun-Berlin August 8^th and 9^th.
