World Cup Val di Fiemme Live

A Nordic Combined World Cup event the World Cup Val di Fiemme will be held this Saturday and Sunday, January 9^th and 10^th and you can catch it live right here on www.livesportsevent.com. Nordic Combined, if you aren't familiar with the sport, is a combination of two sports that are already Olympic Winter Games events by themselves, Ski Jumping and Cross Country Skiing, which began among Norwegian Soldiers in the 1700's is a now a popular winter sport that is competed in all around the world.

Besides the Winter World Cup events, which are held during the Winter months of the season, there are World Championship events held as well, with three of the six Nordic Combined disciplines participated in during the Championships – The Individual, Sprint and Team. Last year a new discipline was introduced at one of the Championships – the Mass Start.
