The SWATCH FIVB World Championships continues to the Nation of Poland, and the first two stops there on the FIVB Tour Calender is a men's event in Myslowice, and a combined men's and wome's in Stare Jablonki. This is the second season in a row for the double gender event in Stare Joblonki, who hosted it for the first time in 2008, at the Hotel Anders in Mazury. Last time, teams hailing from Brazil took home both the men's and women's gold medals. The first four events at Stare Joblonki were men's events and were dominated by Emanual Rego and Ricardo Santos, both from Brazil, and champions of the 2004 Olympic Games, took three top podium positions between the two of them, walking away with the Gold. Last year, the pair were able to add another gold medal to their collection, when Shelda Bede and Ana Paula Connelly, also from Brazil, took the first ever women's title from Stare Jablonki.
