Hans Nieukerke, the President of the Dutch Volleyball Federation (Nevobo) since 2003, is overseeing the development of Beach Volleyball in the European country as the Netherlands will showcase the sport this summer by staging a Swatch FIVB World Tour event in The Hague (August 24-30). Beach Volleyball is a very attractive sport, especially for young people. The Dutch Volleyball Federation has found a great formula to expand that. The Netherlands, have the largest recreational Beach Volleyball Circuit, the Palm Beach Life Beach Volleyball Circuit organized by FTP.  Each summer more than 100.000 Beach Volleyball players participate in this Circuit.
