US Swimming Championships Live

The 2010 National YMCA Short Course Swimming Championships is this week as part of the U.S. Swimming Championships Live and the even returns to Ft. Lauderdale, Florida in the United States at the Ft. Lauderdale Aquatic Complex. This year's theme for the event is 'Hollywood' and you can bet that there will be some great swimming competition going on, as happens every year. The Short Course Championships will feature many athletes that have incredible strength and skill and these are just a few of those: Annie Gillig, who is from Middle Tyger, South Carolina, Margo Geer, from Springfield, OH, and Ashlee Linn from just around the corner in Sarasota, Florida. Also competing are Bekcy Yokosh, Anna Gibas, Paige Impink, Sarah Reynolds, Shelby Fortin and Kendall Crawford.

Last year, Margo Gear won the Womens 50 yard Freestyle, and Sara Beth Blake won the Women's 100 Yard Freestyle Time Trial. Emily Lloyd and Margo Gear tied for the 100 Yard Freestyle.
