German Dimitrij Ovtcharov brushed aside the challenge of Korean Seo Hyun Deok ranked 38th in the ITTF world ranking 4-0 (11-4,11-9,11-2,11-5) to claim the Men's Singles title in the Indian Open ITTF Pro Tour that came to a close this evening at the Yamuna Sports Complex, New Delhi on Sunday, 20th June 2010. India's Sharath Kamal Achanta crashed out of the semi-finals at the hands of the eventual champion rather tamely 0-4 (11-4, 11-6, 11-8, 11-4). Meanwhile Sayako Hirano of Japan won the Women's Singles title defeating Singaporean Yu Mengyu 4-0 ( 7-11,6-11,8-11,7-11 . Korea's Lee Sang Su and Seo Hyun Deok won the Men's Double Title beating Gao Ning and Yang Zi of Singapore 4-2 (11-13,12-14,9-11,11-4,11-6,9-11). In the Women's Doubles category, the Chinese team of Cheng I-Ching and Huang Yi-Hua defeated Li Jiao and Li Jie of Netherlands 4-2 (11-8, 12-14, 6-11, 12-10, 11-4, 11-6) to win the top spot.

The event was being considered as a test event en-route to the XIX Commonwealth Games 2010 Delhi.
