Karakhanyan, 25, is a Russian-born mixed martial artist who is now based in California and trains out of Millennia MMA. He began his pro career in late-2006 and didn’t suffer a defeat until six bouts in. He fought for organizations such as King of the Cage, Gladiator Challenge, and Call to Arms prior to joining Bellator earlier this year. He won his April BFC 13 135-pound opening round bout with an upset KO of Bao Quach, but was defeated in May at BFC 18 in the semifinal round to eventual winner Joe Warren. Karakhanyan was scheduled to face former UFC lightweight Alvin “Kid” Robinson but an injury forced him out.

Leone, 23, is a New York-based submission specialist who fights out of Team Bombsquad. He began as a pro a little over two years ago and has defeated eight different opponents in eight different organizations. In the first high-profile bout of his career, Leone was defeated on the WEC 49 undercard in June against Brazilian Renan do Nascimento Mora Pegado via 3 rd round submission.
