CEV European Championship Beachvolley Final 2010 Live

After some hectic weeks the final of CEV European Championship Beachvolley Final 2010 countdown got started in about one week, i.e. starting from this Wednesday 11^th August 2010, Europe’s Beach Volleyball elite will gather in Berlin for the European Championship Final. Volley Bergamo finished again on the top of the podium of the CEV Indesit Women's European Champions League by beating Fenerbahce Acibadem Istanbul in a breathtaking five set final on Sunday. This afternoon Russia’s Olga Sorokina/Ksenia Dabizha and Viacheslav Kirienko/Vasili Andrianov were crowned U18 European champions on the final day of the competition that was held on the beach located near the “Edificio Transparente” in Porto.

The girls from Switzerland outclassed Germany’s Hüttermann/Schumacher in straight sets in the final match. The second Swiss team Brunner/Sciarini that had lost in the semi-finals against the Germans played for the third place against Dutch pair Braakman/Stiekema. The Dutch team stamped a quick 21-11, 21-10 to finish the tournament in third place.
