Coop Beachtour Live

The Coop Beachtour for 2009 comes to the Federal Square in Bern, for some live beach volleyball action on September 2^nd through the 4^th. It's the Swiss Championship and the Swiss Beach Volleyball Awards 2009 will take place at the same time on Friday, September 4^th at Center Court between the ladies and men's finals. The 2009 Tour's first stop was in Zurich where Zumkehr and Kuhn were the winners for the women, while Heyer-Heuscher took the final for the men. The next stop was in Basel where it was once again Kuhn and Zumkehr for the women and Heyer and Heuscher won for the men. Same result for Locarne for the women, but it was Chevallier and Sutter who took it for the men. The in Geneva it was Great and Kayser on the women's side and Para and Bernardo for the men. In Train this year, Great and Kayser took it for the women while Mocca and Julio took it for the men. They moved onto Winterthur where Great and Kayser lost to Lili and Luana.

Last year's final took place in Bern as well, and it was from August 27^th to the 29^th. Great and Kayser took it for the women, while Ferrer and Schmocker took second. Third was Schmocker and Goricanec and Sciarini. For the men, Heimgarr and who beat out Indianapolis.
