FIVB World League Live

There are quite a few matches in the FIVB World League Men's Volleyball Competition coming up in the next month. The tournament was started in 1990, and it features sixteen teams from all over the world that compete throughout a seven week schedule. This tournament is exciting and full of action, attracting fans at every venue as the total prize money is over $20,000,000 dollars and the winner of the finals receiving a grand prize of a million dollars.

The way the tournament is set up is that the teams compete in groups of four the first six weeks of the tournament. Each team will play each other team four times, two at home and two on away turf. The winners of the pools compete in the final round, with the country that is hosting automatically getting a bye to qualify. The FIVB also selects a wildcard competitor in the final round. 

The events coming up for the FIVB Championships start in June with the first June 13th-14^th, with The Netherlands as the opponent. June 19^th and 21^st the next event is held in Florence and Catania and the next event will be held in the U.S on June 26^th -27^th at San Jose University in California against China. July 4^th will begin the tournament in Nanjing and the action continues on the 10^th as the U.S. hosts Italy at the Sears Center Arena in Illinois.
