If you are a Hurling fan be assured that we will have all of the GAA Hurling action this season. This sport is played with hurleys and a sliotar, primarily in Ireland and is one of the most fun competitions to watch. The game is similar to Gaelic football, with the same field and goals, number of players and some terminology. This is the world's fastest team sports as far as game play goes, with a game lasting about sixty minutes. Teams are composed of fifteen players, and the sliotar is hit towards the goal with a ball over the bar gaining the team one point. A ball that goes in the net is worth three points.

The Hurling pitch is around 140 meters long and around 85 meters wide with two six meter goal posts on either side. This is the same pitch used by Gaelic Football, which is organized by the GAA, as Hurling is. Events in professional hurling include the All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship, National Hurling League, Christy Ring Cup, Nicky Rackard Cup, All Ireland Senior Club Hurling Championships and the All Ireland Under-21 Hurling Championships. There are also championships for juniors such as the All Ireland Minor Hurling Championship.

Hurling is one of the most exciting and fun sports to watch, as the fast paced game will keep you on the edge of your seat during the entire competition. There are events in North America, Britain, Argentina, Australia, New Zealand and many other countries around the world as Hurling has now become an internationally recognized sport.
